The Ultimate Rajasthan Road Trip

Rajasthan is India's largest and most spectacular state — a land of royal palaces, mighty desert fortresses, vibrant bazaars, and living cultural traditions that have survived largely unchanged for centuries. A complete Rajasthan tour by private taxi gives you the ultimate freedom to explore this extraordinary land at your own pace, stopping wherever catches your eye, extending stays at places you love, and creating an itinerary as unique as your travel personality.

Our Rajasthan tour packages cover all the major cities and destinations, from the Pink City of Jaipur in the east to the Golden City of Jaisalmer in the far west, from the Blue City of Jodhpur in the centre to the Lake City of Udaipur in the south. Whether you choose a focused 5-day circuit or a leisurely 10-day grand tour, we'll be with you every kilometer of the way.

Day 5 — Udaipur: City Palace museum, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Jagdish Temple. Afternoon at Fateh Sagar Lake. Evening: Bagore Ki Haveli folk dance show. Sunset at Monsoon Palace. Return to Jaipur (400 km, 5.5 hours) the next morning or fly home from Udaipur airport.

The 7-Day Desert Circuit (Jaipur–Jodhpur–Jaisalmer–Bikaner–Jaipur)

This circular route takes you deep into the Thar Desert and back, covering Rajasthan's most dramatic landscapes. After the Jodhpur highlights (Days 1–2), continue west to Jaisalmer (260 km from Jodhpur). Spend two days exploring the golden sandstone fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, and the Sam Sand Dunes with a camel safari and desert camp overnight. Head north to Bikaner (330 km from Jaisalmer) for Junagarh Fort, Karni Mata Temple (the famous rat temple), and the renowned Bikaneri bhujia. Return to Jaipur via Shekhawati (the painted haveli region).

Best Season for Rajasthan

October–February: Ideal. Cool, pleasant weather (15–28°C). Peak tourist season with all attractions open. Book accommodation well in advance. March–April: Shoulder season with good weather and fewer crowds. Some festivals including Gangaur (March) and Mewar Festival (March). May–June: Hot (38–46°C) but significant discounts on hotels and fewer tourists. Best for budget travelers. July–September: Monsoon season. The Aravalli hills turn lush green. Desert areas less affected. The landscape is stunning but some rural roads may be difficult. Great for photography.
